Yo my name is Paula
Sometimes I'm really shy
And if you give me an insult
I may start to cry.
But it's not that I'm a weenie
It's that I have a lot of emotion.
With happniess and sadness,
Every day's a comotion!
But hey, if it weren't from Jesus
I'd always wear a frown.
It's the heavenly trio
That keeps me on the gound.
It's the Lord Almighty
On which my soul thrives
The love from above is the only thing
That can keep me ALIVE!
If it weren't for the cross,
I'd be dead inside and out.
But Jesus gave my broken heart
Life and that's no dout.
With everything's that happened,
People say I should be sad.
But with the Lord God in my heart
I can be nothing but glad.
So next time you wonder
What force keeps me strong
Remeber the Lord Jesus
It's him to which I belong.
