The spring time brings so many things.
The joy of fresh grass.
The happiness of the birds makes me sing.
To hear the wind blowing and the leaves rustling is sweet.
I run to your side and hug you near me.
Kissing your face, happiness overwhelms me.
Deeply.
I will never understand why you aren't here with me now.
I will try to refrain from crying.
Dying inside, I want you home.
Let me understand your death,
so that I can move on.
I'm tired of flying back and forth across the country.
I haven't eaten in days.
My stomach stopped growling from being hungry.
Your death has made me wish it was me.
See, that's where I'm at right now.
Poetic words, heal me.
Sometimes, I wish for brighter days.
To sit and watch the spring roll in with you.
To listen to you tell me that it's not over yet.
It's ridiculous that it really is over now.
It's horrible that I have to say goodbye.
Sitting by your casket at the wake, I cannot cry.
Believe me, boy, I really tried.
I must say that you look beautiful lying there.
Your eyes shine like a diamond in the light.
I hope you don't mind my levity.
You probably don't care.
Even though the sorrow hurts more than a knife,
