And O to fly
On wings so fair
Wind tugging, pulling
In darker hair
Soft feet pull off the ground.
Golden eyes turned skyward.
Outstretched wings,
Like birds or angels'
Carry one into the sky.
Soft white clouds,
Like cotton candy,
Slide gently passed
Cool, gentle eyes.
The blue strains on
Into black with moon.
The wind is simply calling:
And O to fly
On wings so fair.
On wings so fair
Wind tugging, pulling
In darker hair
Soft feet pull off the ground.
Golden eyes turned skyward.
Outstretched wings,
Like birds or angels'
Carry one into the sky.
Soft white clouds,
Like cotton candy,
Slide gently passed
Cool, gentle eyes.
The blue strains on
Into black with moon.
The wind is simply calling:
And O to fly
On wings so fair.
