There is no such thing as true love,
love is never pure in any way,
never is this perfect,
eloquent,
piece immortal.
Love is like a piece of fine glass,
sitting ever so delicately
hundreds of feet above the ground,
sitting on a slight needle.
Love can always be balanced,
even on this mere small platform,
yet one wind to blow to make you frown,
will send this love falling down.
Down this love falls,
spiraling towards the earth in it's fiery rage,
until your love falls apart,
piece by piece.
One broken man,
one broken woman,
left on the ground to cry and suffer,
broken in whole,
broken in soul,
may the gods give mercy to these lovers.
