I feel I should explain my 1oo-elephants quest. I have a silly personal reason for wanting 1oo of them. It's not just to turn around and sell them for big bucks later... I intend to keep them all as my sentimental reminder.
I'm actually quite bashful about exposing my story like this. So, if you're reading, be gentle~
But when I was a kid, 6 years old, my mom and dad got into a fight. I won't go into details, but my dad left home... Three days after the fight, my mom took me to stay with my relatives. As I gather, she didn't have 'the strength' to take care of me alone. (I have two elder sisters. They were just fine to stay home, though.)
I was up at my relatives for about one month. And had nothing to play with. No toys. And I was just a kid~ So... eh, I made a ragdoll out of old socks and towels to play with. After the month was over, my dad came to get me, and take me with him back home. Once home, the doll was destroyed.
Anyway. When I saw the raggedy Elephant Doll on Gaia, I just gushed. It reminded me so much of that little part of my past. And I thought to myself - of course 1oo of these little things will fill the little void of mine!
Hah. So, that's why i'm questing for 1oo of them. Doesn't make sense, really~ But... blah. When somebody sends me an elephant, I feel so gushy because it instantly reminds me of this story. Every time I open a gift, I always hope it's an Elephant. xB

I'm so surprised at how many people decide to send me one. D:
This little quest of mine would have taken a year - if even I ever finished - to get through on my own. So seeing how much closer I am to filling my tiny void (lame) makes me feel all warm n' fuzzy.
And a side-note! The only Elephant you ever see me wearing was given to me by ]Soylent Green is People[
I still plan to wear all the elephants. 3nodding I just told ]SGiP[ that i'd keep wearing her's.

And I had almost considered not even trying back when I first started. I'm glad I reached this little goal!
