Through Quixar's Eyes This is a journal of the everyday life of Quixar. What he feels, what he experiences, what happens. It is personal, and will dive into the very depths of his mind, so everyone can see just how he thinks, feels, and acts.

*coughs* Ahem - let's...let's edit my Journal shall we?

Time: 8:57 AM

Getting ready for school, this quarter is gonna be another tough one but I'm already loving it so much. It's been only...well...I guess 2 weeks now - yet I've learned a great deal already.

I'm animating and rigging characters I MADE (FINALLY!) in Maya. At last, my world, my stories, my ideas, they're going to be viewable for all to see! *beams a smile*

I'm also learning about animating like old-time artists, you know with a lot of pieces of paper and a lot of determination and patience razz I've already decided a character for this class too - gonna do a little stuffed bunny who wants to fish and has a wild ride trying to catch a fish. It'll be funny ^^

Of course, with the good comes the bad. From now on, each quarter I take must have an Art History in it... *shudders* I don't enjoy history like this. I enjoy watching it on tv and just learning, but I hate being graded on it and having to remember things. sweatdrop

Tonight, I'm gonna try and figure out how to put my old animation(s) on Youtube. Then I'll post them here (if I get the chance) so you all can see ^.^ I hope you'll enjoy them as they were fun to make. Well, all except my Final one last quarter where I had to record my voice... *makes gagging motion* I absolutely HATE listening to myself recorded. If you ever wanted to torture me and get info out of me, all you'd have to do is record 10 seconds of me talking and loop it. After 2 minutes I'd crack. It really hurts/gets to me that badly to hear my own voice being played back. What your ears perceive and what you actually sound like are completely different.

And of course, what would my journals nowadays be without me talking about Mangas I'd recommend/have read? mrgreen

I just finished one absolutely GREAT romance manga that was - get this - NORMAL! It involved normal people, doing normal things, in a normal city. Granted it was Tokyo and it still is a manga, but it was GREAT! The story is more for sports lovers I guess, dealing a lot around Track and Field, but also has really good romance plots and lots of drama. Oh man the happy ending made me swell up with joy (despite having gone on Wikipedia a previous night and accidentally snagging some spoilers sweatdrop ). The story is about a boy who moves to Tokyo with his aunt and cousin. There he takes up residence at a sortof all girls apartment complex. On his way there, he passes by his new school and through the gymnasium doors he sees a girl who is jumping high over a pole (the high jump in case you're wondering). He falls instantly in love with her and believes she is "the one" for him. What a surprise to find out the girl turns out to be his next-room neighbor! And to start things off, she yells and bosses him around like he was a piece of crap! mad Wow, is this really his dream girl?

The story is absolutely great, despite during 2/3 of the way through the translators and spell checkers are absolute crap and lots of times whole speech bubbles aren't translated or translated poorly. But the last 1/3 of it fix this (and the first 1/3 is at expert levels too so it's ok). The story has relationships just like we would have in real life, and just like those relationships nothing is ever certain. There are breakups, jealousies, problems, etc. It's just a great read. Oh my here I am talking about it and yet I haven't given you the name! The name of the manga is called Suzuka.

Another manga I've been reading which is ongoingly updated are Mysterious Girlfriend X, a story about a guy who falls in love with a girl...after tasting her drool sweatdrop and apparently her real emotions are shown using her drool and swapping it with someone else as well as she stealing some drool from a person and tasting it to see what their emotions or thoughts are. It's a different and unique manga, which is why I like it. It sounds gross, but you have to read it to see it isn't as bad as it sounds.

The other manga which is ongoingly updated I've been reading is a thing called World Embryo. Creatures are destroying the human race, and it all started with cell phones. There are special forces sent out to destroy these monsters. A normal boy gets thrown into this secret war after witnessing a fight and finding a mysterious egg. Dun dun dunnnn.. It's a slightly graphic (read gory) novel, and is more on the serious side than what I'm used to. Very serious.

Well, gotta do a few crunches then head to school - see ya'll later biggrin

P.S. Yea, guess I should also state about the crunches. Ever since I began reading Suzuka, and even after finishing it, I've begun to work out again and haven't stopped this time. It feels kindof good biggrin Odd to think reading a free manga online would do that.
