The First Vampire Cat

Intro
"Aya Wolfbane! Pay attention!" I jolted awake. I looked up and saw my teacher,
Mr. Clepto, looking down at me with an annoyed look.
I blushed as the class laughed.
"I'm sorry."
"Well, maybe if you actually sleep when you get home you won't have to sleep through my lectures!"
"Well, there boring..." I whispered. That made him angry.
He sent me to the office.
As I awaited the arrival of the principal, I looked around the office.
I saw a mirror. I looked at myself. I looked completely normal, except for the grey cat ears and tail. I'm a cat demon, or as others call them, a Neko.
"So, in trouble again Aya?" Principal Falco walked in with a stern look.
"Yes sir." I whispered. Principal Falco looked ino my eyes.
"You are just like your father." he whispered. I scowled at him, but smirked.
"Weren't you friends with my father?"
"Yes. I was. Wait here, I've got a lot to do." Falco left me alone at his desk.
I smiled and began looking through it.
"What's this?" I whispered. I found a dull brown paper that said "Vampire Myths"
Vampires aren't myths... I'm friends with a couple. I opened the package.
The first story I read was about a vampire named Maximillion.
"Whoa...." I whispered. This guy was the king, then he gave his life to save Queen Haine! This sounded incredible!
"Miss Wolfbane! Are you looking through my desk again?!" the principal asked with a loud booming voice. I shoved the package back in.
"No sir!" he rolled his eyes but smirked.
"I saw you reading the Vampire Myths papers. I understand that you're friends with one?" he asked.
"Yes sir. Prince Vex." I said. Principal Falco nodded.
"You have my permission to leave. But if I catch you in here again, your in trouble."
"Alright Principal Falco. Thank you!" Looser.......
I walked out of the office and out the school door. Mr. Clepto thinks I'm at the office, it wouldn't hurt to skip the rest of the school day.
"Skipping again, Aya?" a voice said. I recognized it right off.
"Hi Vex! You're skipping too?"
He jumped out of the tree he was sitting in, his messy black hair falling over his red eyes.
"Am I ever in class."
"No, you come and wach me all afternoon. Isn't "daddy" looking for you?"
"Probubly. He's probubly got guards out and everything!" he laughed.
I saw his vampiric teeth glisten in the sunlight. (Vampires do not die if hit by light, they just burn easier.)
I smiled.
"Has your mother ever talked to you about a vampire named Maximillion?"
I asked. He looked at me.
"She talks about him everyday. She's got a statue built of him in fornt of the castle! Wanna see it?" He asked. I nodded.
Vex took my hand and led me to the castle. Since he was prince, I got in easily.
"Wow. So that's him?" I looked at the statue.
"Yep. Mom said his body is buried somewhere around here in a crystalized casket.
Dad said he's in a cave." Then I got a great idea.
"Wanna go find his body?" I asked. Vex looked at me.
"There's the Aya I was waiting for!" He laughed, took my hand and said,
"I already know where it is." I smiled.
"Can you take me?"
"Absolutely."
Vex squeezed my hand and led me down the path to the cave.
"That didn't take long!" I said. He smirked and said,
"You first."
I was about to go in, but then I remembered there was a boulder beside the door, and Vex liked to play tricks on people.
"Hey, have I ever done anything bad to you? Just go in!"
I smiled and went in and just as I did the little punk locked me in there.
"You liar!" I screamed.
"I'll come back later!" I heard him laugh and run off.
"Jerk!" I looked around. It was pitch black. I kept walking and soon, it got lighter.
I found myself in a candle lit room, and right in the middle of the room was a crystal casket.
