11:44 PM Oh dear oh dear~ late again with journal updating!
Well, I'm out of college for this quarter. I'm very happy - it's like a huge weight has lifted off of me and for the first time in 10 weeks I woke up feeling refreshed, even though I didn't even get 8 hours of sleep! Now I have about 1.5 weeks off, and I'm gonna play my heart out!
For those wondering, I have so far passed 2 out of 3 of my classes with an A! The 3rd has yet to have a few grades posted, but I know I've passed that class too so that's 3 A's. Absolutely wonderful - but that's just the Lepera workman spirit! *punches air to look tough and manly*
aI've gotten a few emails and comments from friends that I've sorely missed. Hohoho it's been fun to read a few people worried about my new addiction to mangas and how it's been taking over my life - I feel like Gollum from Lord of the Rings. Next thing ya know, I'll be hunched over, reading mangas, petting and hugging my computer while I have them on screen and saying "My precioussssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssss".
Actually I kindof do that now blaugh - I kid I kid... well.. sortof... I mean the hunched part is right rofl as is the reading mangas part.
I've discovered something however that I'm a little freaked out over! I've fallen in love... WITH ROMANCE STORIES!!!
Oh dear heavens - a manly man such as myself is so addicted to seeing a boy figure out his feelings to a girl, and vice versa, and harem-like romances (such as one guy having a lot of girls liking him, ie the "Tenchi Muyo complex" rolleyes ). I read this really, REALLY good manga that I recommend to EVERYONE!

AH! Here it is. It's called Midori no Hiba, or Midori Days! A tough guy in school who has never had a girl in his life because he's a the school's "Mad Dog" (despite how he really, really wants one) is sick of being alone and being rejected by any girl he attempted to date. At this rate, he'll probably just marry his right hand (que sexual inuendo razz ). He goes to bed, and wakes up to find out his right had has turned into a miniature woman (from her hips up) named Midori! And one of the first things out of her mouth is that she has been watching him since Middle School and loves him! And that he is her beloved! gonk Holy ballzacks! The story is about opening up to the real you and finding out that true love may be closer than you think, you just need to take chances and keep your eyes open to the world around you. Read this manga, I insist!
I've also fallen in love with Lesbian romances lmao but that more so cuz I'm a guy. But you know... In those mangas, the love feels more real... The scenes are more sensual and caring... And the characters are always hot to look at! rofl
One great one I'm reading is Kashimashi ~ Girl Meets Girl. A guy with a VERY female face has just been rejected by a girl he's loved for so long; he goes out into the forest to gather his thoughts... WHEN HE IS CRUSHED BY A SPACESHIP!! eek The alien, taking pity and trying to repent for taking his life, brings him back to life... Unfortunately, the alien was unable to bring him back as a male! Now, our hero... is a HEROINE! His face is the same, but now he has a body to match that female face of his! What's more interesting, is the girl who rejected him has suddenly exclaimed that she now loves him! Wha!? It's a really fun story to read on an idea of "what if by some freak accident your whole biology was changed into a workable opposite sex, and your whole city was told about it, and now everyone knows you were once a guy but now a girl, and your best female friend and girl you liked now find you attractive, and your male bud is now struggling to figure out whether he wants to be your friend or your lover! Lol~ I dunno; it's a good read.
Another great one I've started reading recently is Nagasarete Airantou. A Harem-romance manga; boy is shipwrecked and finds himself on an island... An island with no connection to the outside world... An island with no men - but a LOT of women!! eek Of course, the boy is freakin retarded (note: this is my opinion) since he nosebleeds at any nude scene and never makes a move on all these women who want to marry him and love him since he, well, is the only man they've ever seen aside from their fathers (should they have had one while alive, though all their fathers are dead due to an accident). There's a part of me that wishes I could break his neck because he does al men a great injustice by acting like such an out of character male ~ while another part that is envious that he has so many women who find him attractive and really want to be with him blaugh

In other news, I'm enjoying playing games. Games game games... *drools* Super... Smash... Bros... BRAWL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! God I love this game. Love it. Love love love love love it. I've recently gotten a few other games I'm gonna have to find time to tryout: Final Fantasy XII, Kingdom Hearts 2, a multi-pack of games (like Black and White 2), and The Witcher. Of course I'm also gonna look into my other games such as Hellgate: London and...................................................................................... *ponders*........................................................... a-and..........
