Why the hell am I getting so many friending requests from people I don't know? This is getting silly. I think I'm just going to decline them all. 	Simple, you are getting them because you are currently first in Gambino. If you hold the trophy you get this month afterwards, they will continue for awhile. You get used to them though... And on that note, please win Gambino Gold. While not even a week ago I was roaring to come snag it, since you said you wanted Silver to begin with anyways, time has restricted me and not sharpie, who is not worthy of the trophy. 	Ach. I kind of wish I could, but alas, finals are next week, and I have papers due that I haven't finished yet. So I'm afraid there will be no more fishing for me this month. I might have tried to squeeze in a bit of time if I wanted the gold as much as I want the silver, but as it stands, it's just not worth the precious study time I would lose. ^^;;; And not worthy? I'm afraid I don't understand. What makes him so unworthy of the gold? 	Well, since I got a PM from sharpie also asking why I thought he was unworthy, I will just address both here. lightbulb - I knew you had finals coming up(Yes, I read other journal entries, I keep tabs on the competition to see if it is worth it to push myself as hard as I was) but I didn't know it would totally blow you out this weekend. But hey, at least you are getting what you wanted, and if that is the case, then good for you. What I meant by that he isn't worthy of the trophy is well, he isn't a Top Fisher in the true meaning of the word(s). Yes, he has time, and a nice amount of skill I must say. But he has acted very arrogant and obnoxious towards a lot of the other fishers in TF. TF, in case you don't check out the Fishing Forum, is the Top Fishers series of threads. It has been around since February, and has become the hangout of legends past and trophy hopefuls of the future, though all are welcome. My point is, we have a high sense of honor there, and of being respectful and such. But sharpie had come off with quite the attitude and being quite boastful when if he had gone solely on his own he could not have caught you. If it wasn't for my speed urging him beyond 10k a day he wouldn't have stood a chance at his current rate, yet he boasts of how much better than everyone he is. I understand that you are confused, but the last time I checked, you hadn't posted since the first of this month, and chances are you haven't been lurking much because of your studies, much less anywhere sharpie posted. sharpie - Need I go over this again? I made 32k in the first 3 days of competition, and [b]I was holding back[/b]. I wasn't supposed to compete this month period, and I told Ultima that if he didn't hurry up I would take Gold because you all were moving so slowly. He obliged, and lightbulb did in response to keep Silver locked in. I could have made twice what I did then, but I didn't want to be tempted. I then proceeded to not only junk, but junk at [b]Durem[/b] with friends to complete my Tin Hat. But I figured it wouldn't hurt to take a Bronze at Gambino since it was moving slow still at the low ends. So, I [b]junked[/b] there for about a week to get my Tin Hat, going at a snail's pace because of it. Then I saw that Ultima was MIA, so I checked up on lightbulb here, and found that school would occupy her time, and that I could make it. So I started, with a 40k deficit on you, and at the same time you started as well, trying to take at least second. Within 5 days or so I had closed your 40k lead and actually passed you for as long as it took for you to finish a bucket. And that was with some time cuts as well. Had I not had the time cuts in the first place, or even just had the same mount of time I did for those days I was racing, you would now be in second. lightbulb again - I apologize if you didn't want this in your journal. If you didn't, just PM me and I will take this out and PM sharpie with the relavant information to him. I don't want to bring drama to you, and it has been following me lately.
