So, yeah. This is poetry that I wrote. I don't consider myself a good writer or these poems good. I just wrote them when I was bored one day and more will probably be added to this entry. These are all children's poems, so they are simple and lighthearted. Want to read poetry about depressing s**t? Leave.
Children’s Poetry
Time
It’s a funny little thing
It flies by as you have fun
There is never quite enough of it
Lack thereof makes you run!
The Little Kings
From faraway lands
Muck like in a story
Come fair kings and queens
In all of their glory
They ride like good knights
On white horses fair
Saddles on tight
The wind in their hair
The dragon is slain
The witch is at bay
The brave little kings
Have again saved the day
Bedtime
The day is done
The moon is out
The stars shine bright as well
It’s time for bed
Don’t make a sound
There are no more tales to tell
Under the covers
Please close your eyes
And dream a dream of me
And wake tomorrow
Sweet as the sun
Shine bright for all to see
Mouse on a Table
Three cats at a table
Watching a mouse
With a hungry look in their eyes
One makes a move
With his nimble paws
The mouse moves, not surprised
The second tries
To lure the mouse
By putting out some cheese
But the mouse
Is way too smart
The cats he will not please
The third cat eyes
The clever mouse
Wondering what to do
So he, that cat
Can trick the mouse
Into becoming food.
Rain
The rain is coming
My dear child
To water the plants
Both at home and wild
The flowers are thirsty
They need a quick drink
The rain makes them happy

The crows and the jays
All hide in the trees
They all seem to say
“Keep us dry, please!”
After the long rain
The plants thank the sky
The birds take their flight
Making sweet cries
