Running swiftly across the baren landscape, a young child of about twelve hurried and dived behind a large, smooth rock, breathing heavily. Hurridly she pressed her hands over her mouth to quiet the noise made by her labored breathing. Claws scraped on rock and dirt, and an aroma of damp fur reached the girls nose. "Oh no" she thought, terrified. "Oh no oh no oh no..." She heard the creature walk up to her, and her breathing escaped from her hands. As she saw large yellow eyes peer around the rock..........
