hey me again. I am deffinatly going to public school for high school. i have already met the principle of the school i will be attending. I have also figured out what i want to be when im older, if you do not like death or have a problem with one of your friends cutting up a dead guy to examine him, stop now. you have been warned. I wish to be a Coroner. for those of you who do not know what that is that is a person who works in a moruge.
here is some stuff about them(i got this info off of a site because i was going brain dead at the moment):
Coroners work to find the cause of deaths that are accidental, violent, or unexplained. Most crime shows on TV follow detectives, crime scene investigators, and lawyers as they try to solve the hard cases. The coroners are usually minor characters who show up from time to time, revealing their findings. Then, they leave the scene, going back to their examining room. Yet, coroners are often the ones making decisions. They may initiate investigations after determining that a death is questionable. In some areas, coroners are authorized to issue subpoenas and even call a jury.
Coroners are public officials who investigate the cause of deaths. They are appointed or elected to serve in a specific administrative area, such as a city or county. Coroners have different duties depending on local law. In some places, coroners are physicians and may be called medical examiners. In many localities, coroners are not required to be physicians or be trained in medicine. In these cases, they direct others to do medical tests.
When a questionable death occurs, coroners are called in to determine the cause of death. They work closely with public health and law enforcement officials. Coroners give these officials information as they conduct tests. Coroners direct the activities of physicians and technologists. These workers perform autopsies and tests to determine the cause of death. Coroners decide if a death occurred under natural circumstances, or was due to accident, homicide, or undetermined causes. They assign a cause and manner of death and list them on the death certificate. Coroners sometimes testify at inquests, hearings, and court trials. They also direct workers to prepare documents for official records.
Coroners provide information about the circumstances of the death to the family of the deceased. They also take care of dealing with unclaimed bodies and their belongings.
there you have it, thats what i want to be and im not getting talked out of it.
