like seeing through an opaque glass,
I return to the memories of yesterday,
to find my own regrets so openly displayed,
upon a pedestal of black depression,
glistening with my own obsession,
tarnished with the pain of regret,
deep enough to drown out the cries,
of my last hope filled dream.
