This is a place of happiness...
This is a place of pain...
This is a place I created on my own...
In my silence...
in my sorrow...
Welcome my friend.

The story I've been working on...
Well since its long I'll have to give it to you in parts...

I was awakened this morning by the terrible droning of my sliver-plated alarm clock. It woke me up more when it fell on top of my head. "Ow!" I groaned flinging the horrible thing across the room and hitting the Baka square in the face."Hey man watch it!" he grumbled before he too tossed it and rolled back over into his distorted slumber. I glared into the sunlight blazing through the window. From my position on the floor it seemed worse than if I'd slept on the bed. ((The reason The Baka and I were on the floor is because there was a terrible leak in my sibling's domain and her bed has become soaked.))
Grumbling, I carefully lifted my sore body off of the floor, listening to my bones snap and pop. "About time you got your lazy a** up." said Cassiel ((Evil sibling)) as I entered the hallway. "Go blow yourself." I replied laughing slightly. She rolled her eyes and continued brushing her teeth. When I entered the kitchen I was happy to see that the morning's hot tea was already made, and it was my favorite. "Chamomile and lemon, just like you like it." came a voice I didn't recognise. I was momentarily startled and turned my head sharply, making my neck pop. "s**t!" I yelped, rubbing my poor neck. The voice chuckled and I frowned over to see my friend Nick standing there propped against the counter with "my" blue mug. "Are you always this beautiful in the morning? Or is it my lucky day?" I cut my eyes at him. I wasn't in the mood for any of his teasing. I wasn't in the mood to respond either, so I ignored it. "What are you doing here?" I asked grabbing my other mug and filling it with the warm, sweet liquid. He took a sip and smiled. "I came to see you." I sat at the table and frowned into the cup at my reflection. I looked nice and sleepy with my hair all over the place and puffy just-woke-up eyes. I wanted to go back and take a nap.
"What about?" I asked glancing out of the steam and into his eyes. He laughed again. "Why does it always have to be a reason? Can't a guy come and see his friends if he wants to?" I of course was very skeptical. nobody ever came to see me just for the hell of it. Then again the guy did have a point. "Okay," I said still looking at his eyes. He had beautiful eyes. they were a deep green and they were always so shiny and alive. "You've seen me, you can go now." He just laughed. "Only you would say something like that, that's why I like you so much." It was my turn to roll my eyes. He was teasing again, and I still wasn't quite in the mood. "What do you want? What do I have to say to make you go away? It's my day off for crying out loud!" He laughed heartily. "Who else on god's green earth would get up this early on their day off!" He was laughing at me right in front of my face. I frowned more than I possibly already was and got up to go back to my room. I didn't have the patience to put up with this right now. He came around the table and grabbed my arm still laughing at me. "Wait, oh diva. I want you to have dinner with me tomorrow." I was so suprised that I nearly dropped my drink. "Say what?" He was looking dead serious now. "You heard me. It's about time you got out of this house and had some fun. So will you have dinner with me tomorrow?" He'd gotten on his knees as if proposing. I smiled. "If I want food I can eat here." He stood and pouted. "If I were a dark and mysterious stranger you'd jump into my arms and shout take me away!" I couldn't help laughing. "I would not! I don't jump too well, I've got bad knees." He kept pouting, but I saw his lips twitching with the smile that was soon to come. "Since when?" I pretended to think. "Since just now." This time he was 'offended'. He held my hand over his heart and moaned something fierce. "Oh, my heart! It is breaking! You cad!" Cassiel came into the room at that moment and just stood blinking. "Are you two done being Shakespearean drama queens yet?" I grinned at her, still clutching Nick's hand. "I'm not a dramaqueen!" Nick stood and released my hand. "That's right, he's the all powerful man-diva!" I punched him in the shoulder. "For that comment I'm not having dinner with you tomorrow." He mocked fainted. I placed my bare foot on top of his stomach. "And that is the joy of playing hard to get." She raised her brows in confusion. "You two are weird and need some counciling. "No we don't!" we protested in unison. He got up again and dusted his t-shirt off. "So what time will you be ready?" I took a drink of my tea, which had gotten cool. "Sevenish." He nodded and beamed at me. "It's a date."

I took my time getting up today. It was after all my second day off, not to mention it was a rather beautiful morning. The sky was clear and beautifully blue, the sun was high overhead shining brightly in all its glory and it was pleasantly hot. After my usual shower I didn't even bother to brush my hair. It fell in a nice mess of premature tangles at my shoulders. I pretty much loafed around in my bathrobe while drinking my tea all morning. I was feeling exhilarated and alive. It had been a long time since I felt this way! i wanted to relax and enjoy every minute, which I would have done had not Cassiel and the Baka made me rise from my perch on the couch to go shopping for a new outfit. "Get up You lazy-a**! You've got a date tonight remember?" I raised my eyebrows at the two. I had been invited to eat and go out with a close friend. When did that classify as a date? Before I could ask both of them had me by one arm hauling my one-hundred sixty-five pounds up and shoved me into the bedroom. I hated to be rushed, so to spite them I took my sweet time in getting ready. I didn't wear anything special, but I always like to look nice, so I wore a black t-shirt covered by a white button up, and a pair of black jeans. ((yes I always dress that way))
When I opened the door they jerked me out and almost flung me into the car. "What the hell is wrong with you two!" I shouted, quickly fastening my seatbelt as my dear sibling nearly hit the mailbox backing out. "What's OUR problem?? You're the one with a hot date with Nickypoo and you're acting as if its nothing!" I rolled my eyes. I was stuck in a car with two matchmakers from hell and getting more irritated by the second. "It is nothing! It's Nick and me eating and probably watchin a movie or something." I had the feeling I was talkin to a brick wall, only the wall would have listened. "Somebody buy this boy a clue!" the baka ((who's name is Aiden)) said agitating me even further. They stopped talking to me after that and began cackling like two old hens amongst themselves. I sighed and settled into the back seat, designating myself to look at the scenery as it passed by.I must have dozed somewhere along the ride because the next thing I remember is being awakened by Aiden. Buzzing with sleepiness I let them drag me from store to store and tried on god-knows how many outfits until they found one that they both agreed I looked "Delicious" in. I didn't really care at that moment so I didn't bother asking about being delicious. "We" weren't done with shopping until two in the afternoon. By then my nerves were shot, my back hurt and I just wanted to kill them both. When we returned home I went straight to my beloved couch and fell fast asleep.

When I awakened sometime around four I was slightly dizzy and light headed. I rushed into the bathroom and puked for what seemed like forever. Cassiel came in to check on me. "Are you okay lil bro?" she said rubbing my back softly with her palm. I frowned up at her from the toilet seat. "Do I look okay?" I turned away as I felt another spell of nausea hit me. She cringed at the disgusting noises as I emptied all the contents of my stomach. When the vomiting had stopped and my insides calmed she spoke again. "We probably shouldn't have rushed you around so much. Sorry about that." Wiping my mouth on a nearby towel I smiled faintly. "It's ok." She nodded and helped me to my feet. "You still going on your date or should I call and cancel?" I shook my head. "Why do you keep insisting that its a date?" She grinned. "Because Nick likes you, you're going to have dinner, and he pretty much said so." I had to admit from her perspective it did sound like what a date normally consisted of, but surely that wasn't so. Sure he liked me, but I'd made it clear enough the first time that I was not interested in that sort of relationship. I just didn't have the motivation in me. I laughed suddenly and she gave me the funniest look. "What's so funny?" I laughed even more. "Is it not funny that a supposed romance novelist doesn't have the motivation inside himself to form a romantic relationship?" She muttered a quick yea and coughed. She didn't believe it was all too funny.

After a nice long shower and the re-brushing of my teeth I got ready for my evening with Nick. I detangled the mess that had been my hair and let it hang however it chose. My "specialists" had picked me out a nice deep red silk shirt and a pair of tight black jeans that were snug, but had breathing room. I looked myself over in the mirror. I'm not normally a vain person, but I looked good as hell...no i looked as they'd said earlier..."Delicious!" I was oozing the sexy vibe and it felt good. I was still checking myself in the mirror when Cassiel started laughing. "All this time I thought only women knew when they looked good." I turned and gave her my sexiest smile. To my surprise she blushed. "I'm telling mom that you think I'm sexy!" I laughed pointing at her. She threw the pillows from the bed at me. "You'd better not! Then she'll think we're incest!" "Well if you'd stop having those horrid fantasies about me then..-" She'd tackled me to the floor and the wrestling began. Who knows how long it would have gone on if Nick and Aiden hadn't come through the door. "Aww how cute a family fight! Quick sombody get a camera!" Laughing I pushed her off of me and stood, lightly dusting myself off. "You look very nice." came Nick's voice. I smiled and looked over at him. "Thanks." He didn't look too bad himself! His tall slender body was godly as muscles peeked out in various places of the simple black shirt under the button up he was wearing.. His wild dark hair looked windblown and soft but it was his eyes that made me shiver inwardly. His deep lushious sea eyes held something primal, yet they were soft and tender as well. Something told me it was gonna be one hell of a night. My breath caught in my lungs. "You look pretty good yourself." He licked his lips and ran his fingers through his ruffled hair. "Ready to go?" I nodded and we both went out the door. "Be careful kiddies!" laughed my sister as we drove off. Nick laughed right along with her and our "date" began.
