For the last few months, I've felt as though the wolf in me had faded, as whatever imaginary frequent readers may know. And, silly me, I started thinking again. About wolves and lions and sheep, mostly... And suddenyl this picture just popped into my head. A wolf. One of my kind. A simple one--gray back, dark tan underside, brown ears--but with eyes that said, "join me". Then he howled. And I howled back.
I guess the wolf wasn't gone after all. Maybe I just needed to know I wasn't alone.
