From day to day we live our lives,
we live comfortably with all the lies.
We sit and stare at computer screens,
and fail to acknowledge all those screams.
Sadly, t'is normal you see,
because we don't need to see the forest beyond the trees.
We don't need the unexplained,
we don't need their shame.
Each day hundreds die,
in bloody fire fights.
Each second a child cries,
because they are nothing but meat to buy.
For the world this is the norm,
for normal this is its form.
We think it stays the same,
that it couldn't possibly change,
when each year there are those who rebel,
and they're the ones who go to jail?
Dare to dream, dream to dare,
it's simple,
just a matter of standing here instead of there.
Persecuted for their opinions,
because they don't fit.
Persecuted for personal descions,
because they can't handle it.
Persecuted because they just don't belong.
They don't strive to belong in the circle of fatalities,
they live inside the real normality.
It's ever-changing,
it's no one thing.
It's overrated.
It's nothing.
It's you.
It's me.
It's the word of the day.
It's forgiven.
It's shredded.
It's time for a new edit.
Normal is nothing and everything,
it's changing its mission.
In my book... It HAS no definition
