Next chapter of my Kag x San yuri fanfic. smile Enjoy. (Oh, yeah, fyi, the *s mean either a scene or time change, and ffyi, from here on out the titles will be of the movies I used to create thing. Yes, yes, I know, that's pretty stupid, but it was the only way I could remember where my material came from and where it needed to come from next, etc, on w/ it.)

Chapter 2 To Naraku's Castle

Sango walked on through the thick underbrush. Naraku’s castle should be ahead, she thought as she walked up the steep incline, stumbling often on the loose rocks.

Blood ran down the black demon-hunting armor she wore from the wound, dripping to the ground and leaving a trail in her wake. Kirara looked at her master, hissing sadly. Sango smiled at the twin-tailed cat.

“I’m all right, Kirara. We have to find Kagome,” she said, placing her Hiraikotsu before her and pulling herself along again.

Kagome awoke slowly. Naraku stood before her. The girl gasped, instinctively reaching for her bow. It wasn’t there. She glared at the demon.

Naraku laughed at the look. “You think your precious demon slayer can rescue you?” He turned to a wall, waving his hand.

An image of Sango appeared with Kirara, the two staving off three ogre demons. “Sango!” Kagome cried as the demons surrounded them and the two disappeared from view.

Kagome could only watch as moments later an ogre demon walked into the castle with the two. It growled, throwing Kirara to the floor.

The fifteen-year-old priestess looked up at the unconscious woman. Sango lay over the demon’s shoulder limply.

Naraku smiled smugly. “Take the guests to their chamber.” The ogre grunted, grabbing Kagome by the wrists and dragging her off to a back part of the castle.

* * *

Kagome glared, kicking at the oni as it shackled her to the wall by the wrists and waist. The red ogre turned, chaining Sango up differently.

Two chains hung down from the ceiling, spreading her arms as she was shackled there. Two chains also came from the floor to go about her ankles. The demon left afterward.

“Sango…” Kagome called, tears in her eyes. The woman opened her eyes wearily.

“Kagome…” She smiled. “Are you all right?”

“Forget about me! What about you?” Kagome struggled against the metal bonds.

“Don’t fight, Kagome,” said Sango eyes downcast. The girl looked at her. The demon slayer smirked. “Naraku didn’t inspect me.” She bit into the cloth that held her armor, removing a bent wire.

She tossed it to the girl, who picked the locks on her chains. Kagome rose. “Now, I’ll get you,” she said, starting to go forward.

“No, you won’t.” Sango looked at her. “You have to escape.” The girl stared at her, shocked. Sango gave her a reassuring look. “Don’t worry over me. Escape while you can.”

Kagome nodded, her eyes confidant as she raced down the halls. Sango sighed, relieved. Then sucked in a sharp breath as she heard Kagome scream. Naraku laughed as he walked into the room, throwing Kagome in.

The girl lay half-conscious on the floor, a bruise slowly forming on her head. Sango glared at the demon. “You dirty snake!” she shouted, lunging at him. The man merely smiled.

“You can have her back, Sango,” said the demon-man cunningly. “After all, I do have most of the Sacred Jewel. You are merely amusement. I seek to have pleasure in my life. Your pain gives me pleasure, great pleasure.”

He laughed. Sango glared. He continued, “To free your priestess, you must perform tasks for me. Tasks which include saving her from demons of the Continent and beyond.”

Naraku stepped forward, pulling Kagome up by the back of her shirt. “Or do you want me to keep her for myself? You should know very well what will happen then, Sango.”

Kohaku stepped from the shadows as if on cue, stepping back into them just as quickly. Sango nodded, gazing at the floor defiantly. “All right. I will. As long as you swear you will not harm Kagome.”

“Trust me, demon slayer,” Naraku forced her chin up to gaze into her brown eyes, “you will be the only one having to endure…the tests I give you.”

* * *

Inuyasha glared at the demons. “Get out of my way!” He used the Wind Scar once more, panting as a hundred more demons replaced the ones he’d slaughtered.

Miroku closed his Wind Tunnel, shaking. Shippo’s Foxfire died. “There are too many, Inuyasha! We must retreat!” Miroku cried.

Inuyasha glared at the castle once before turning to regroup.
