She's falling fast, Into a state of mind unknown, In a darkened dreary place, Where they've left her alone
Trapped helplessly, In a window of silence, They refuse to notice her, In an act of violence
The scars on her wrists, Are the consequences of your apathy, She's screaming out for help, Down humbly on her knees.
She looks in the shattered mirror, To see her troubling refection, And gather the reasons she hates herself, In a frightful recollection.
She can see nothing, And neither can they. She cries silent tears, As she's left to decay.
She looks down at her hands, And sees nothing there, She's fading away, And there's no one to care.
Her heart is so weary, Her bones cold and tired, As she is deprived of, Recognition desired.
She bleeding through her mouth, Her nose, wrists, eyes, And her skin as translucent, As the rain from the skies
They can't see shes dying, They look the other way, As she falls down broken, With nothing she can say.
The weight of the pressure, That is their eyes looking through, The form that's her body, With nothing she can do
It kills her on the inside, As she bleed on the out, Wishing to grab someone, Shake them and shout.
I'm losing myself, Wont you help me find my way? Instead of leaving me here, A bloodied display.
She lingers, a corpse, Out in the street, With blood in the snow, From the bones she calls feet.
They see the crimson, Follow the footsteps on, Until in the snow, They're covered and gone.
Her mark is left, Round those on the ground, One step from where she was, Whose voice makes no sound.
A shelter for those, Deemed invisible by man, Save them if you're able, Understand them if you can.
