this is the last day i can post about random crap this week so prepare to be posted out of your MIND!!!
tho that may not work because i almost never have anything to talk about....oh well....
okay so like a couple weeks ago i was looking at my friend's journals and i saw Audry-kun's and i decided to read it for no reason. i was flipping through entries and saw this thing that she wrote cuz her friend challenged her to. it was to write about his death. so i got to thinking and i was wondering what would happen if Zero died before my eyes (sorry Striker, i'm writing you next if i ever find time). the ending is kinda cheesy, but i feel like writing it in here....even tho i should be doing my math....oh well......SCREW YOU MATH (for now)!!!! scream
It was an ordinary day in June, birds singing, children playing, the usual. An ice cream truck was turning around the corner, and all the kids went running to by their frozen treats before the ice cream man decided to leave.
Zero and Nezumi sat in the grass together, enjoying the weather. School had just gotten out, they had a whole summer to spend together. Nezumi smiled and lay her head in Zero's lap, looking up at the clouds. Zero smiled as well and followed her gaze.
"Nezzi," he said to her, "you know I'll always be there for you, right?"
"Yeah," she replied, "of course I know."
"Good."
"Why?"
"Just checking."
Nezumi laughed and looked across the street. Two little boys were playing catch with a rubber ball. They were happily content with their game, until the ball got away from one of them and bounced into the street.
One of the boys ran to go get it, not checking the roads first. Just at that moment a drunk driver sped towards the little boy. Nezumi sat up and tried to call out to the little boy, bout found her voice was gone. Zero decided to go with action. He scrambled to his feet and ran into the street, pushing the little boy out of the way.
Nezumi finally found her voice, and screamed.
The driver didn't stop. He didn't even look back at the person he had just hit. He just kept going.
Zero was bleeding on the road. Nezumi sprinted towards him and knelt beside him.
"Oh my God, Zero!" she whispered, tears coming to her eyes.
He smiled, obviously strained, and wiped them away.
"Don't be sad Nezzi..."
He was dying there in front of her. Nezumi didn't know what to do. She checked her pockets then remembered she didn't have a cell phone. She cursed her parents, then dug into Zero's pocket and found his cell. She quickly dialed 911.
"Please, please help!" she gasped, now sobbing, "There was a drunk driver...he hit my friend!"
Nezumi could barely understand the person she was talking to, but somehow managed to give them their location and hung up.
"Zero," she gasped, "Please don't die on my, please!"
Zero held her hand and she gripped it tightly.
"Please...please don't leave me! Y-you said you'd always be there for me...!"
"Nezzi...you couldn't get rid of me if you tried..."
Just as the sirens of the ambulance came, Zero slipped away from life. Nezumi just sat and cried, holding his hand as if it would keep him from leaving her.
