explanation behind my name begins now!!
okay so like a year ago i met this awesome person ((YAY NEKO-SAMA!!)) and she's only a couple of years older...but she used to go to my church and like we would call each other by japanese animal names. She was Neko, I was Nezumi. and I chose Nezumi cuz i like it and I'm kinda like a mouse cuz i'm really nervous and jumpy sometimes, but then i'm like a rat, annoyed at people arround me and hording things away in my closet....lol
so tomorrow begins the year of the rat!! yays!!
tho my favorite year is the year of the usagi (rabbit) because of this one story about the chinese zodiac! here it is!!!
Once, a long time ago, God told Rat to invite all his friends to a large banquet he was holding in his home. Rat told all of his closets friends, but for some reason he forgot to tell Cat. The day of the banquet came and Rat realized there was one open seat, but he couldn't find Cat. So as all the animals got in line to go to the banquet, Rat invited the first animal he met to go to the banquet. That animal was Rabbit. So instead of the year of the cat it's the year of the rabbit.
yup, another story goes like this:
Once God invited all the animals to a grand party at his home. All the animals were very excited, but suddenly Rat decided to play a trick on Cat. He went to Cat's house and told him that the party was the night after the actual party was held. "Oh thank you," said Cat, and Rat left. So the night of the party came and all the animals lined up to go to God's house, but Cat was at home sleeping, happily dreaming of the party that he missed.
so I slightly resent Rat for that, but...yeah. And I slightly don't like Rabbit because he took Cat's place....but w/e.
wow....that didn't take long to talk about...and i'm still bored!!!!
