you feel a pain
It feels you deep
You harden your heart to hide from the pain
But nothing seems to work
Your kind hearted ways have gotten you in trouble again
You scream as you try to block it out
The scream causes you to see much more
You find yourself looking for a way out
The reasons you keep to your self
Trying to run had helped you before
But now there is nowhere to run
You are lost, no escape
Falling to your knees you cover your face
As the tears stream down your face
Hiding now will do you no good
You have to face what you have been running from
The way you know is dark and cold
So you try to find the path of simplicity
But the path is covered and there is no way in
Walking along you hide yourself
To let a person in is to feel the pain again
So you harden yourself more
And run from all
They know not what you are
No need for them too
Continuing down the path the trails come hard
You cover your face and cut like a dull blade
To be left alone is a hardship
Realize one day that there is no escape from reality
