It was Damien. His long black hair covered part of his face. His icy-blue eyes bore into me. He was very handsome, a common trait amoung all demon rulers.
"Want to be partners?" He asked
"Sure..." I said.
Damien always had a habit of asking me to be his partner even though all the girls would love to be is partner. We got to work and within a few minutes we finished.
"Hey, Cassie?" He asked
I cringed. I absolutly hated my human name, Cassie. It was so girly. My true name was Umashi, which in demon means graceful protector.
"Yes?" I replied stressed.
"Why don't you talk about your parents?" He continued
My parents...I had never known them. They died after I was born so there was nothing that I could really say about them.
"Well..."I started but i had to think,"M-My parents are divorced.."I lied.
"Oh, I'm sorry..." He said apologeticaly.
"Its ok.." I said.
The bell rang and we had to leave to our next class, gym. Oddly enough Damien was in my same P.E. class. We walked in and the bright light surrounded us...
