A girl named Aj in her late teens walked arond the dark streets dressed in all black. She walked along with her friends; Diamond, Mycal, and Rekay. They also were dressed in black. Mycal and Rekay were comparing tonights stash, trying to see who had made more money that day. While Aj and Diamond counted their own money. They did not see who lurked in the shadows, they did not hear the silent foot steps behind them.
It was around 3 in the morning. Everybody had cleared the streets by 2:30 Am for 3 was when the fights began. AJ and friends wanted to see the fights Eastside against westside tonight. A great fightr it would be. Doon and his crew dressed in full out white with fire red hair against Madding and his crew dressing in sky blue with jet black hair. The friends were very excited. Mycal and Rekay started to walk ahead of the group, not a smart move. Diamond and Aj hurried to catch up with them. Mycal and Rekay continued farther ahead soon out of sight.
Diamond and Aj exchanged confused glances and stood where they were for a moment, not really knowing what to do. "You wanna go after them" asked Diamond. Aj shook her head. "let them be. We know our way back." Aj and Diamond looked around where they happened to be. "What in the hell" Said Diamond as she twirled around, not recogining where she was.. "s**t!" Exclaimed AJ as she also looked around and placed her hands in her pockets. One hand now wrapped around her pocket knife the other around her .45 . Diamond saw Aj put her hands in her pockets and gave her a Wide eyed look. "loaded?" She asked. "always" replied AJ.
The two turned around and started back the way they had came. Wishing that they had paided attention to where they were heading. "Can't believe them assholes left us" muttered Aj under her breath. "neither can I. Sho as hell gone kill em when we get back " said Diamond. They continued to walk along the dark streets and turned into an alley where they saw people also dressed in black. Aj tapped the nearest one on their shoulder. Bad move.
The person turned and caught Aj hard in the Jaw. AJ groaned loudly and stepped back a few steps. "Dammit man, I was just gone ask ya somthin.." The person looked at Aj with a confused look then spoke "What the hell are ya'll youngins doin out herr late this night. Dun ya'll know they gone be a fight herr this street a'night?" It said. Diamond spoke up at this moment. "yeah, That why we done here, Plus our b***h a** boys left us." "Ya'll needa get home, where ya'll from" it asked. "Quincy" Diamond answered. "ya'll in luck then.. It ain't too far. Bout.. giva take a mile." it said. "Aight. thanks" said Diamond. AJ had still not said anything at this moment but stared at the person of which had told them just how far they was from home.
"I know you...I think I do.." She said.."Is...Is ya name Ja'Quan?" The person Blinked. "yeah. your's?" it asked. Diamond said "Diamond and this is-" AJ cut her off. "my name is classified. Thanks for telling us where we are. We need to go now. Late's Ja'Qaun. and thanks." Aj started to walk away, pullin diamond behind her. Once they were a good four blocks away. Diamond pushed Aj against the wall and got all up in her face. "What the hell is ya problem?" she asked then mocked Aj's earlier reply "my name is classified" "the hell it is. " Aj pulled away and continued to walk away, her hands clenched in fists in her pocket. "I don't want to talk about it aight?" she said "lets just go home... i'll tell you another day. " "Tell me now AJ.. Tell me now" Diamond asked.. her voice a bit softer. "No" Said AJ her voice filled with Hatred and Anger. "lets just go" Aj continued to walk foward not knowing that Diamond was not following her but she had actually gone back to where Ja'Quan was.
Aj sighed and took her phone out pocket as she continued the walk home. She speed-dialed Rain's number. he picked up on the first ring. "I'm at the corner or Diasy and Cliffs. I've just seen Ja'Qaun, Diamond went back and I need to get home. Pick me up now. " Rain did not need to answer but hung up and made his way there. While AJ awaited her brothers arival, she leaned against a window and played games on her cell phone. she did not at first see the person come up to her but heard his breathing and smelt the whiskey on his breath. She peered up from her game, not wantin to show that she had spotted him. she looked up just as he took something that gleamed in the darkness from his pocket.
"What in the-" The knife was thrown and landed in the window behind AJ. AJ RAN. A car coming up fast along the road spotted Aj running and The man behind her with another knife in his hand. It squealed to a stop and Aj jumped in. "Thanks "she breathed, tryin to catch her breath. "You are welcome" Said a deep voice that sent a chill down Aj's spine. This was not her brothers car...
