Breathless from running, Blaze shook her head and sat down in her red leather chair. Things weren't going as she planned, and she'd have to make arrangements to get rid of the opposition. Standing up, she went over to the balcony and looked over the woods, there was a slow movement of trees, someone was heading towards the mansion. Smiling, she leaped from the balcony, her silver blade in her hand. Walking towards the movement, she kept her blade in a ready position.

Once in position, she waited for the movement to reach her. A man came through the woods, moving trees as he passed. Smiling, he looked at Blaze's blade and cocked his head. "Why are you here?" she asked in a low growl. Continueing to smile he shrugged and took a step forward. With her other hand, she smacked him, sending him flying backward. She took her knife and plunged it into his back. She took a step back, holding her breath, waiting for him to fall to the ground. He turned around slowly, a cruel smile on his face.

She gasped as he took the blade from his back and took another step towards her. He lunged at her as she snarled. The last noice heard from her was a scream so loud it woke the ravens from their daily slumber. Still smiling, he walked on towards the mansion, the blade by his side, dripping with the blood of not just him, but Blaze as well.
