February 3rd, Year of the Yellow Butterfly
Dearest Diary,
I’ve not been well for the past couple of days. I keep hearing strange voices, quite strang. I will be outside and here a voice. I looked and no one but a small animal runs by. I think it is very strange but of course when I told mother (Like Every other time) she smiles at says “it is part of being a princess. What in Aslan does she mean? I’ve heard rumors that some other Princess’s having strange powers. No one seems to fret. None of the royals though they know these rumors are spreading. Today was normal beside that. I went climbing with mother and saw a Viola Butterfly! It only lives where the 3rd Magi before she lost her powers lives! It is supposed to..I am not sure...be the symbol of Viola, Zafikares guardian. I think.
February 4th, Year of the Yellow Butterfly
A little fact from last time I wrote. Every kingdom, including the Shade Region has a spirit Guardian. They are similar to animals. Like Aslan’s a Yellow Monkey and spirit is human but with monkey details. Saffron is my kingdoms spirits name. It makes sense since Saffron means yellow and our kingdoms most treasure animal is monkey and we act like monkeys a bit. We Aslanian’s can be a bit wild and we like to I guess monkey around. I noticed that each of kingdom is like their animal. Like Luntavare is the dolphin. They are flamboyant and can be a good fighter but can be shy at times. That is rare for the Dolphin Kingdom’s people to be that way. Today is so warm and steaming. Mother is thinking about my future.
I am having my birthday very soon and that means a grand party. Presents, Balloons, cake, and more. I am not sure what kind of party it is...Mother says a Maskerade or Maskade. I personally just want to have a peaceful day with food.
February 5th, Year of the Yellow Butterfly
I have been freaked beyond my talents! Mother, smiled at this and Father winked at me. I have know clues what is happening to me! I may just be hearing and seeing things Today I was sitting with Lady Camille’s daughter Grace. Her and I have become friends recently. We sat on our blanket with a small table to set our food, drinks and teapot on. I smiled at a bird that landed on my shoulder “How do you do?” I said and than it spoke! It replied as politely as any human! I jumped up as the bird flew away. It startled me! What is happening? Will I become a half monkey and half girl? Please Katina don’t let that happen!
February 7th, Year of the Yellow Butterfly
Too tired. Raining today. Which I do not like. For the past 2 days I have been getting prepared for my Princess Ceremony. It is on the 12th of this month. I will become the Princess of Aslan officially. I was christened a royal at birth but not a Princess. Late, must sleep.
