To explain the facebook thing: We had a glitch and EVERYONE couldn't get on facebook. However one of the teachers thought it would be really cool to tell the students that facebook was permanently blocked by Clemson just to see what everyone's reactions would be. I think 10 petitions were formed within the hour and I assume that Clemson, aware of potential suicides, decided to let us have facebook again.
Okay, enough about facebook. Did anyone see the awesome snow? xd I stayed out with friends and played in it until 2 in the morning. It was awesome. I have very few pictures as I left my camera inside until the next day, but those will be on facebook shortly.
Well let's see. Classes started and I guess I'll take you through my schedule to let you in on the torment I'm in for this semester.
Spanish 102- The teacher actually seems really cool and I'm looking forward to all the culture sections.
Comm. 201- This is the "weed out" class for Comm. majors. Needless to say this class is going to be extremely difficult. And the book is super boring.
Comm. 201 Lab- We have to write a 15 page paper along with several other papers....on comm. theory. Absolutely zero fun. You'll hear me complain about this all semester I'm sure.
English 231- This is intro to journalism. The teacher is really young, but graduated from Harvard and Northwestern so she seems qualified. It's at 8:00 in the morning so I have problems staying awake.
English 215- This teacher is also really young and already gets on my nerves. Why does everything have to be about movies? Idk, she could turn out to be okay and at least the material we're reading is interesting. (Contemporary Lit)
Comm 250- This is like high school speech and debate all over again. . 3nodding Lots of speeches, very little work. I love it!!
