HOLY CRAP MAN THAT WAS A WEIRD DAY AND IT'S NOT EVEN OVER YET!

Peri and I went to this park/river, right? So I'm wearing my swimsuit and a shirt (I hate sunburn) with flip-flops. We get over to this place where the current's really strong. I wasn't used to the water, so when we got there I sat on the edge and dangled my legs into the water. Weeeeeell I took off my shirt and set it down and the water took it away.
"CRAP!"
Peri and I pushed ourselves into the water to try and get it, and my flip-flops floated off.
"Damn, my shoes!"
So I went off to get those and I managed to grab them both, but then I couldn't stand up. I had my foot wedged under a rock to keep from floating away, but does it hold?
NOOOOOOOOOOOOOO, it has to go and FLIP OVER on me.
So I dropped my shoes and I ended up floating down these rapids and I smacked into a bunch of rocks.
That was my day 3nodding
8 scrapes and 4 bruises later, I'm sitting at my computer waiting for it to get dark so that I can set off my fireworks. Nobody else in my family besides my little sister really seems to care about this holiday, so for the past three years I've been the one to buy fireworks. I got $10 from my dad, though, which was cool. So... yeah! Party!
