So many times I wondered
Why things are the way they are
Everything I want
Or need
Is out of reach
Yet
Will be mine in time
So intill then
I shall raise my head high
Be proud of who
And what I am
And stand for
Even if others
Say things to my face
Or back
Of what I do that they dislike
To them
I smirk and say
I'm sorry
I didnt know I was placed on earth
To please and do tricks for you
And walk off leaving them
Mouth gaping
And eyes wide
For the things that bring me happiness
Will always
Because right now
I choose not to care
How others view me
So
I shall sing my song to the heavens
