The wind tugging at my hair
The leaves around me start to dance
But I don't really care
I told myself I'd never love
It was a promise I had to keep
But now instead I think of you
And suffer dreamless sleep
It gently starts to rain
But I don't move at all
If I get back on my feet
I know I'll surely fall
So I sit here in the dark
All alone, and in the rain
Suddenly, in solitude
I realize my pain
Your face shines through the darkness
turning nighttime into day
And you take the seat beside me
As if we'd together all the way
He put his arm around me
I fell into his chest
I cried and cried and finally said
I love you more than all the rest
I plan on turning this into a song. However I wrote it just so I could vent my feelings, hope you like it

"Listen to the mustn'ts child.
Listen to the don'ts.
Listen to the shouldn'ts,
The impossibles, the won'ts.
Listen to the never haves,
Now listen close to me.
Anything can happen, child.
Anything can be." ~ Shel Silverstein
