Sitting by the window,
she is feels so alone,

Engulfed in the darkness,
doesn't know where to go,

Mind scattered like broken glass
like raindrops on a blade of grass.
Rain falling softly on the window pane,
can't help but feel she'll go insane.
Perpetual darkness,
trapped in her own mind.
All the pain she can't leave behind.
Fragile like a baby bird that's far too young to fly,
