I started a babysitting job today. ooh fun.
$100/week. I'll be babysitting a 3 year old most of the day, and an 8 year old for the rest of the time after she gets home from school.
it's nowhere near minimum wage, but it's money.
I can save it to get back to CA!
and dip into it occasionally for random things to distract me from where I am. mainly books and the occasional video game.
I don't think I'll be getting a PS2. I mean, now that I'm babysitting I wont have any time to play it, except at night, when people are home. and I bet by the time I get done babysitting all I'll wanna do is have some chocolate and sleep. hahahaha
I barely got ANY sleep last night.
I was tired until about 20 minutes before I decided to go to bed. grr.
so I played my gameboy. then Katie called. and we vented to each other about life. that made me feel better.
I got a second wind (after sleeping only a couple hours) sometime before lunch. hah.
I'll pro'lly crash after dinner. hah.
oh, and it's snowing! not a whole lot, but a bit. woot. it's cold. hahaha
I'm also trying not to cry right now. there's all sorts of reasons why, but the most recent is a bulletin my friend Mike posted. such a sweet kid. it made me miss that silly boy even more. he's like the brother I never had, only better. he cares a whole lot about it friends, and it made me smile, but made me sad 'cause I live so far away now.
