Innocent as a spider’s web
Quiet
Still
Elegance in its form
Light as air
Flow with the breeze
Letting the zephyr run threw
Free
See it glitter in the morning dew
Watch it flow without going askew
Woven with the finest care
Art only passed down by hare
Lure only those with a keen eye
And so entranced in to it they fly
Entangled with this beautiful air
Hours and hours they will sit and stare
Until they become part of art itself
Innocent as a spider’s web
Because
Though you are caught up in thee
It’s the spider taking you to your doom
Not me
