Lucky Sauerkraut Recipe
one jar sauerkraut
1/4 cup brown sugar, firmly packed
1/4 teaspoon caraway seed
Dump the sauerkraut into a saucepan and, using medium heat, bring to a boil. Add the brown sugar and caraway seeds. Stir to thoroughly mix together envisioning luck for the entire year. For best results, serve with the ham or pork dish of your choice.
Cabbage is one of the fastest growing vegetables in the garden, making it plentiful as well as lucky. Caraway seeds also represent plenty and prosperity.
