I just got back for a detassling orientation. Which means if I'm called in for it I'll get some work which pays actual money! I'll have to work in a corn field pulling parts of the stalk off from like 6 in the morning until late afternoon. But it's 7 day work and pays 6.50 an hour. I'll be able to get the gas money needed to move now! I just have to wait for them to call me and let me know when they start.
The meeting felt odd for me as the average age group there was 14 to like 17. But since I'm over 18 I get paid 50 cents more than them. Hopefully I get called in soon so I can get started right away. I'm not looking forward to waking up at like five but I need the money. To think I woke up at 2 in the afternoon today... I went to bed last night at 4! Wow, this is going to be a certainly big change.
So what else have I been doing? Well for the last few days I've been playing Final Fantasy 7. It's a rather good game despite the actual gameplay growing tedious. I love it's storyline and have gotten to the second disk. I left of last night fighting the turks while going through the sewars which proved to be annoying. There HP were all about 30k so it's a bit hard to beat them... BUT I WILL! pirate
Aside from that I'm really missing Julia lately. She's away on vacation and our talking time is a lot less. I also haven't been able to see her face on the webcam. Which is something I really miss! Oh well all I have to do is wait through this and everything will be fine.
