Sickly sweet smiles
Make my stomach twinge
Overly toothy
And false is that grin
Faking my way threw the day again
Put on a smile and everything’s fine
Pretend to be happy
And people don’t mind
Or seem to notice how deeply you’ve sunk
Into this place of ailing gunk
Filled with bad choices
And filled with harsh words
Stuffed and crammed
With things I’ve tried to learn
Things forgotten
That shouldn’t have been
Life’s pesky dramas
And my ungranted wish
Why why
Does it all have to be
All in one place
Where I happen to be
