Yuki lay on the couch sleeping after the two had returned home from Yuki's appointment at the clinic. While The doctor had been busy with Yuki, Shuichi was talking with Hiro who had come by to borrow a few things. The two friends talked for a while until Yuki came out with the doctor and the two left to go back home. Yuki as usual after a doctor's appointment usually took a short nap before getting up and cooking them lunch. Yuki groaned and moved to lay on his side, and opened his eyes slowly.
Yuki sniffed the air smelling something good, he hoped Shuichi was only steaming vegetables or something he still didn't trust the boy in the kitchen by himself. Getting up off the couch he walked into the kitchen and saw Shuichi whistling to himself as he worked on lunch for them. Yuki walked up to the pink haired boy and wrapped an arm around him.
"What's cooking brat?" He asked pressing his belly against his koi's back.
"Lunch." Shuichi said putting the knife down and turning to Yuki.
Shuichi put a hand to his lovers belly and patted it feeling the small swell that was growing there. He smiled, their baby was growing in there, inside his koi's belly Shuichi bent down and kissed Yuki's belly.
Yuki smiled slightly but not enough for it to be noticed shooing the pink haired teen away Yuki picked up the knife and Cut the vegetables and made them lunch.
"Wow this is good." Shuichi said scarfing down the miso soup Yuki had made them.
Yuki ate quietly and thought about the baby. Up until the last appointment when he had his first ultrasound done he didn't believe there was a baby growing inside of him, when he got to look at the baby for the first time he stared at the black and white screen for a while until the doctor helped him up and gave him a picture of their child. Speaking of which, he pulled his wallet from his back pocket and opened it up and looked at the picture of the baby growing inside him.
"Whatcha got there Yuki?" Shuichi asked blinking.
"You'll see later on tonight." Yuki said and got up and placed his dish in the sink.
Walking to his office he shut the door and walked over to his desk and sat down and started typing. He had to finish up these last few chapters and then start a sequel on the novel he was working on. He placed the picture of the baby by his computer screen and smiled at it and rubbed his belly.
Shuichi cleaned up the dishes and walked into the living room and clicked on the news. He yawned and switched the channel to something more interesting. Finding nothing on he turned off the Tv and decided to go see what Yuki was doing, Knowing him probably working on his novel. Yawning again he got up and walked right to Yuki's office. Finding the door closed he knocked once....no answer, knocked a second time...no answer. The pink haired singer knocked a third time and heard mumbling from inside Yuki's office. A small click was heard and Yuki opened the door and looked at his koi.
"I'm busy go away." He said in annoyance.
"But there's nothing to do." Shuichi whined.
Yuki rolled his eyes and turned him in the direction of the bathroom. "Go take a bath or something." He said and pushed the boy in the direction of the bathroom and shut the door to his office again.
He sighed and went back over to his computer and went back to typing. Finally after three long hours he finished up the last of the chapters for his new novel and printed them out and put them with the others. Leaning back in his seat he picked up the ultrasound picture and looked at it then down at the small swell. He rubbed at his belly for a while and heard his stomach growl.
He had a craving for some pickles and strawberry ice-cream, knowing he couldn't very well deprive himself of this craving he got up and walked out of his office and downstairs into the kitchen. He looked in the fridge and pulled out a large jar of pickles and looked in the freezer not finding the ice-cream he wanted. He heard Shuichi walk in and narrowed his eyes and looked at the boy.
"Shuichi where's my strawberry ice-cream?" He asked crossing his arms over his chest.
"Um i ate what was left of it, I was about to go get you some." He said and opened a cabinet and tossed Yuki a box of pocky. "There's some strawberries that i bought at the store in the fridge if you want it." The pink haired boy said and left the apartment.
Yuki scarfed down the whole box of pcky within two minutes, and considering it was one of the big boxes that held like 30 or so in a pack it was considered a record to him. He opened the jar of pickles and took one out and ate it. By the time his koi had come back from the store he had finishd probably all but five of the pickles and was now munching on the strawberries while watching a romance movie.
Shuichi looked at the jar of pickles and saw almost the whole jar and container of strawberries almost gone. Thank gods he had thought ahead and bought some more strawberries and pickles and lots of ice-cream. Walking into the kitchen he placed the things down and put them away and brought the ice-cream and some more strawberries out to his lover.
Yuki clicked the movie off as he got tired of watching the credits and turned it to another romace movie. "Get my food?" He asked dipping a strawberry in whipped cream and sucking on it before he bit into it.
"Yep...did you eat all of this?" Shuichi asked reffering to the food.
"I'm eating for two now so stop acting like a mother hen." He said and blinked wondering where that had come from.
"Yuki your gonna make yourself sick you shouldn't eat so much. Its bad for the baby if you don't get the right nutrients." Shuichi rubbed at his lovers belly and Yuki shooed it away.
"I'm gonna wind up sick regardless so buzz off and shut up i'm watching my movie." Yuki said shoving another pickle in his mouth, he grabbed the carton of ice-cream and began putting spoonfuls in his mouth.
Shuichi got up and looked at Yuki and Hmphed and walked off. "Geez what a groch." He muttered.
"I heard that." Yuki said and chuckled at the movie and looked down at his belly and rubbed it.
Later that night Yuki crawled into bed with his lover pulling him close. His blond locks fell over his eyes and he pushed them back as he felt Shuichi snuggle close to him.
"Hey Yuki what was that thing you were looking at earilier?" Shuichi asked.
Yuki pulled the picture out and held it in front of his lovers face. "This." He blinked as the picture was snatched from him and Shuichi sat up and stared at the picture for what seemed like hours.
"Wait where is it?" Shuichi asked.
Yuki sat up and pulled his lover close and showed him the outline of the baby.
"Right here you moron." He said and smiled.
"Hey now." Shuichi said and looked at Yuki's belly. He poked at it a few times and smiled. "You got a tummy now." Shuichi said and smiled happily.
"I've always had a stomach you twit, wait are you calling me fat?" He asked narrowing his eyes.
The pink haired singer held his hands up in defense and shook his head. "No no no not at all, i'm just saying your starting to show is all." He noticed Yuki's glare didn't let up any but only seemed to worsen.
"So you are calling me fat....goodnight brat." Yuki said and took the picture from him and placed it on his nightstand and pulled the covers over him as he lay down on his side and fell asleep.
