I wanted a new cello bow for christmas - mine is basically crap. We had our music store order a few and I took them to my lesson to see which one would be better to buy. My cello teacher just dropped this gigantic bomb on me saying 'You've outgrown this cello and I think you should get a new one' because obviously you have to match the bow to the cello. I almost cried. I love my cello right now and I've only had it for two years. Not to mention that a new cello would cost over 2000 dollars. Yeah...interesting day.
