1) New items are always going to sell really high, and then drop quickly as more items become available and the demand for that item drops. (Supply and Demand.)
2) NEVER sell any item for more than 15 gold below the lowest buy price. This keeps the average pricing of the item up, in turn increasing profits for other users and yourself.
3) DO NOT follow by the average buy prices of the items. Chances are that those are no where near the actual pricing.
4) Don't be afraid of the marketplace. The marketplace can give you lots of gold if you know how to use it wisely.
5) If you want to make fast profits on a new item, make several 'tabs' (or other windows on the same account). One is for seeing the lowest buy price of the item you are buying and selling, another is for your store this way you can sell, and another is for your mailbox if you recieve messages from the marketplace. This will help a great deal when you are seeing if you are at least in the top 5 lowest prices of that item. It also helps to get many of an item while you are logged on and sell them all while you are still online (prices have a tendency to drop very fast due to what I like to call, 'marketplace n00bs'.)
