Dear Journal,
One of my best friends got married Saturday, June 25, 2005 at 1:00 p.m. I was her "last minute" bride's maid because one of them could not come down from another state. So what we did was I cam to her house and went shopping for me a dress (the little town I live in has only three places to get formal wear, and two of which are thrift shops). So, any way, she lives in a big city with much more variety! We thought we were going to be shopping all day for one, but found one within twenty minutes of going into the first store. So we just went to grab a bite to eat and hug around in town for the rest of the day. That night, at 6:00 p.m., was a rehursle. Afterward, we had a dinner at her mother-inlaw's house. After that was over we rented a movie and stayed up doing nails and stuff.
Saturday, we got up at 8:00 a.m. and went to get donuts (which took and hour and a half). (All the stores were closed or didn't take debit cards.) Well, we got home showered and waited on the woman to get there to do her hair (I ended up just fixing mine and doing my own make-up and my friend ended up having to do her makeup too.) Anyway, she was an hour late. After the weddingreception another friend an I went to the hotel room to swim with her an her husband.
Sunday I went to church and after they had a pool party. Then I cam home and worked on a book report for my Psychology class.
