Today is 12/15/07. My trio performed at TOP foods. Then we went to the Nutcracker downtown and saw our little Karky-warky perform. We saw her after the show.
I gave her a shiny nickel.
And now I'm bored.
And you all know what I do when I'm bored.
FREAKY POETRY TIME!!!!!
The music sounds
I bob my head
one last dance
with the dead
A skeleton swings me
I waltz with a corpse
A body beside me
laughs as it morphs
It rots very subtly
as it dances away
My dance is nearly over
as is the day
My shoes have worn down
My hair has fallen out of a bun
The shadows have come now
Chasing out the sun
My partner's fingers
are nothing but bone
He is the heir
to a deathly throne
The eyes are long gone
leaving hollow sockets
Clocks chime loudly
My partner searches his pockets
He brings out a knife
So silver and bright
He pulls me from the dance floor
And into the night
Under a willow
He wipes away my tears
He must understand
All of my fears
He raises the knife
His hand ever so steady
I knew it would happen
I knew and was ready

He picks up my corpse
As nonmoving as lead
And so ends my last
dance with the dead
