The Nameless Color

The world is crayoned
By your heart.
But you forgot one color
and she tries to sing, but she can't.
When you hum, I hear only
The color unseen, invisible.
The song of the color
She has her story to spell.
That color... not violet
Violet sounds like a piano..
Whose voice cries a minor
and says she must go.
That color... not crimson
Crimson sounds like a scream..
Whose words speak pain from love
and blood, fresh... warm.
That color... not blue
Blue sounds like the sea's eyes..
whose tears will never dry
and is tangent with the sky.
That color... not yellow
Yellow is like the moon
whose face is seen by only the sun
and is lit by the world
That color... not orange
Orange is like Strength
whose fists were too weak
to heal her wrath.
That color... not gray
Gray is like time
whose speed could not
match her everlasting interval of fate.
That color... not green
Green sounds like the Goddess of Maternity..
whose arms cradle the world
and voice so deep may pacify.
That color... not brown
Brown sounds like surrealism
whose self fears she mustn't exist
and yet she sings through our minds.
That color... not black
Black sounds like a castle
whose echoes sing no melody
and yet has such a distinct tune.
That color... not white
White sounds like a painting
whose portrait speaks of the rainbow
and is given the time of a mobius.
That color... who is she?
Such a piece with a voice of solitude
whose tamber is like wings
spread about to protect.
This color... you have given me...
Look at your doing...
My voice, my song is in existence...
Until you open my eyes.
Give this color a name,
Allow me to be visible to human eyes.
Allow me to be spoken by their tongues.
Introduce, by your song, my name.
The world is in color.
Allow me a being of that world.
Perhaps I am the strokes...
that allow the colors to be.
