Ok guys, I know that I have ranted and raved about this topic for a long time but I really need your help.

Ok, me and my mom really got into it tonight.
My family believes that it is necessary to be baptized to be saved.
Now most of you know already that I have been trying to find out the truth
of this subject, and I came up with that since God said to do it, then do it.
My mother on the other hand disagrees with me fully and started yelling.
She was saying how I am responsible for all the souls I am going
to mislead when I die and that I am only telling people half
the truth when I witness to people.
First off, I told her plainly that Christ says that "For grace are ye saved throught
faith, not by works."
She went off about how it says, "Repent and be baptized everyone of you
for the remission of your sins."
It does say that, but it also says, "Whoso calleth upon the name of the Lord shall be saved."
Just too make things just a tad bit shorter, it ended up with her huffing and puffing, saying that it was her fault that she sent me to Calvary and how they crammed all
of that stuff down my throat to where I started believing that we don't need to be saved.
She said that she didn't want me to talk to my younger sister about this and what not.
So, my parents went home and around nine thirty, she called and started talking about Niccodemus (sp) and in John 3, he was saying that to be born again you have to born of the water and spirit.
Guys, or Trey specificly, help me out again.
I have no idea what I am to say to that and
so that is why I made this really long journal entry.
I've prayed about it, and that is the answer I cam up with.
So now I am at a lost.
