Well, my great uncle is in a care center, and we went to see him today because there was a special Christmas supper. I haven't seen him for over half a year now because I've been away for so long, and his memory's going and he sometimes forgot who my mom was (he's my dad's uncle), so they didn't think he'd remember me at all, but he did. Dad asked "do you know who this is?" and he looked at me for a few seconds and said "Kayla". We were all surprised, but happy. He's getting old and frail though, so not sure how long he'll last, but it's nice to see him again. We use to always take a fishing trip in the summer, but he couldn't this year or the last either.
That's all I suppose. =/
