Written in response to someone elses worries over the prospect of moving away to college:
You definitely don't know me, but I somehow managed to get to your journal (by being curious as to your sig for a friend and mine are seaching for art) and, since this was the entry that came up first, I read it and felt the need to comment.
I'm in the same situation, the only differences are that I'm off to university and there are three people I can stand missing. I feel scared, nervous, panicy and on the verge of a nervous breakdown. I hate change, despise it, loathe it. I'll be living with my grandmother and will be in a city I'm already slightly familiar with, but those tiny details don't help ebb the flow of uneasiness.
I just thought you should know that you're not alone. A teacher of mine told me today that all you have to do is remember that almost everyone in that lecture hall is in the same situation as you: scared, nervous, and feeling alone.
Well, I'm done my rant of lunacy, you can ignore it all if you want since you don't know me, but I just felt the urge to try to reassure you (since I'll be scrambling around for reassurance myself in the next few weeks).
