I just wrote this poem... aaaaand hope y'all enjoy it!
I am the shadow that watches you
And slip into your mind
I make a guess to your everything
Just to find that I am right
When you look there, into the mirror
I am that one twitch in the corner of your eye
I am that one thing that you thought you saw
And I’m that dirty lie
I am that ugly thought
You’d never thought you’d think
I am that “What If” that never came to be
That one thing that you missed
I am your fantasy
An imaginary friend
The spirit of that old teddy bear
The letter you’d never send
You keep on forgetting that I’m there
Read me all your lies
But then again, you forgot again
That I am that lie
I’ll never die
