Thorn ran through the forest, tears in her eyes. She had just witnessed a death. Her younger sisters death. In a cave. It was horrible, but she tried not to think about it. She kept running, even though she was weak.
She wasn't just running to get away from the bad memories, she was being chased by the killed. Damian. They had been rivals for years, ever since she won a game of chess against him. he wanted revenge, and he got it.
"THORN! YOUR NEXT!" His voice echoed through the woods. Ignore him...ignore him.. incanta... she thought, not knowing she was reciting a spell. She wasn't scared or nothing... she knew what was coming. And what she was. It was her turn to get revenge. "Hukora! Hilishio flumorae!" she screamed. It was a fake spell.
Or was ment to be. Her and her sister had made it up, or thats what she thought.
Damian stopped running and froze. Literatly. He stood Frozen with a blank expression on his face, and he fell forward. Thorn turned around and looked at her hands.
