You never realize how much you really love somebody or miss them tell it happens. I Made a big decision in my life and moved away from my family to be with a new family, but new families can’t replace real ones.

I was just digging threw the Christmas stuff when I found some Christmas cards from my mom and family, I remember when I didn’t have to get a card or phone call, instead I got a hug and a cup of eggnog and a big Merry Christmas.

That made me think of a lot of things like how every Christmas we turned on the radio and heard Christmas music well my step dad passed out presents and how he’d make eggs and tatters, while the fireplace burned the ual log.

I was going around to hand up some wood candy canes and that reminded me of how my mom used to shop for just the right ones she always wanted peppermint and nothing else worked. Lol

The looks on my siblings face when they opened something they really wanted, priceless memoirs, or the look on my mom and dads face when they know they got the right thing and let out a sigh of relief.

Mom’s Christmas dinner mm mm good, Ham, corn, gravy, mashed tatters, rice, cranberry sauce stuffing she always made such a big dinner for some reason, about the time she start cooking the family and friends start poring in the door with more gifts and food, the snow is falling outside and they shake it off there hats and coats and you can catch a glimpse of it falling just outside the door and a breeze of wind carry’s it into the house.

I’ve never really missed anything this bad in my life, don’t get me wrong those my new family is great too they have all there own lil things they do Christmas is Christmas here too.

So to all you who are wishing to get rid or be away from your family for the holidays trust me you’ll hate it later, love your family even if you think they don’t love you.
