Closed up into tight spaces.
No time of thinking to breath.
To busy thinking of running away.
While I’m searching for the light
You open the door to my darkness
Turning me blind, making me trip and fall
Waking up screaming,
Waking up battered and weeping.
Not because of the excruciating pain
But for the pity I feel for you
When I see your eyes choking quietly
Confusing look in your reflection.
This physical pain is no match for those crying eyes
It makes me want to chase the world for you
To hold you tight while you scream
I won’t let go....
Even in this dark oblivion I won’t let go
For this is our sanctuary
And none can stop us from thinking so.
