Take hold of my hand, drift off into that slumber land where you once were,
long ago you held my hand gently here, all alone I am now.
So long ago was that, that I can hardly remember anymore,
Here in the garden of dreams, I await patiently, for you…
In the church grounds I call out, your voice, echoing into the darkness, the vines of roses envelope my heart, waiting so patiently..for you…..
The flowers of hope bloom in my heart, but slowly wither in the coldness of truth.
Where are you my dear? Why must I search so long and cry so much for you? Why have you disappeared like the dust on a newly polished clock? Where have you gone? How many seas have you traveled? Why does my heart insist you are still here? Why…am I still here? Why do I search continuously forever for you? The flowers continuously wither inside my heart, but bloom every time I hear the echoes of your voice from so long ago in my mind. I only want you here as I climb into my cathedral and await you once more my dear….
