Woke up in a cold sweat. I sucked in a breath, preventing myself from screaming. Let me introduce myself. My name is Tabby. Short for Tabatha, but if you call me that, you're dead.

Standing at 5 2", I'm actually pretty short in my ring of friends. Or, what used to be my ring of friends. It all ended a couple weeks ago. At school. Most horror stories take place in a graveyard, or old castle. Mine takes place at an abandoned school. Just another reason for our generation to hate school.

I hate people thinking of me as normal, not that they ever do. I take pride in being comepletely weird. And now, I'm kinda paranoid. I mean, it's not easy, getting over about all of your friends dying. Practically in front of you. I can remember every detail. The bone shivering thud of their bodies on the floor. The ear piercing scream cutting through the air. The cold blankness of their lifeless eyes, staring up at you.
